It's raining. Hope the forecasters are right today though, because we have a U3A gardeners' group outing to Ripley Castle gardens near Ripon. It should be dryish while we're there. And there's a cafe...

LP, Wanlockhead is such an interesting village with the lead mine, library and old cottages. I haven't been for some time but there used to be some 'real' cottage gardens.

I've been up for a bit. OH has left to catch the plane for England, going to Norfolk for 6 days.
I've been deadheading dahlias, but I should not have worn my slippers, heavy dew. They are now sopping wet and covered in lawn mowings.
