Hello all.  Baking hot here. 33C already.   I put on a top and shorts this morning but way too hot so changed into a cotton frock.  Much better.  Been to the dentist again - the real one, not the holiday replacement.  Several X-rays later, teeth sound, jaw bone sound so he's suggested he replace the very ancient small metal filling with a modern non metal jobbie.  Should stop the wee electric shocks.  Fine by me.

None of the promised rain last night and the 37mm they were threatening fro Friday has diminished to 1.7!!  Still no gardening then.   Might do a bit of sunbathing before going back to the sewing machine.

Dove - if I'm still awake at 1am on the 1st I'll start a new Forkers, being an hour ahead and all.

Enjoy your BH everyone, whether walking or gardening or flopping in the sun or sh

The sh*t weather here has meant that I've emptied and washed out kitchen cupboards so the day hasn't been wasted.

Would much rather have been outsideimage

ADE - no idea why it was truncated.

All you people with rain really aren't trying hard enough to send it my way.  Our forecast now reckons we'll get 0.4mm between now and September 7th!

    Happy to share the sunshine........

Could have collected some for you on Friday by the side of the road at Inchnadamph - or should that be Inchnadamp... image

It made Ardvreck Castle look gloomy and atmospheric though. The rain had almost stopped at that point. Nearly barbecue weather....image
