Ob; in previous years the bird feeders were in demand all year round even if at times you watched them chucking it on the ground to get the best bit. (Or at least that's what it felt like anthropomorphised - is that the right word?)

Due to my pain levels I tend to listen to the radio to fall asleep. Recently on the BBC app I  found recordings of Beatrice Potter; how soothing thinks I...

.... Badgers stealing baby rabbits, daddy ending up in the pot, mice destroying the dolls house..  I don't remember it being so violent!

Wot?! No one awake ... I've been out walking in the dewy grass in my bare feet while waiting for the kettle to boil ... Now I'm back in bed warming my toes up. It's another beautiful morning ... Looks like we're getting the best of it today ... Sorry Hosta image

Morning Dove! I was awake early. Well my eyes were open at least. Tea consumed. More required.

I had the strangest dream that I was leading a group of people to an abandoned village in Ireland. You could take cash, dried tea, fruit cake, vegetable seeds, equipment for gardening / survival. Very Bear Grylls (but with tea not pee).

We planned on getting chickens etc. when we got closer to the area as they don't travel too well. Which I thought was a nice logical touch for a dream!

Feel most out of sorts now however. Maybe I should be googling abandoned villages in Ireland... just in case.

Hello you two. I'm coming down with Hubby's lurgy I think .  Planning on slouching on the couch with a cuppa and some Panadol.

Heavy mists hear, such a shame as was inspired yesterday

we were up in the back of beyond, near the highest village in Scotland ( which everyone thinks must be in the highlands) It also has the highest golf course in U.K.  You are asked to cut the greens before you play!

our trip was to see boarding kennels.  Stunning location and one if the lovleyist  gardens  made in impossible conditions

Yes, Lilyp, it does seem as though everyone is having a Monday Sleepin.

my head is splitting and I'm feeling rather short on energy. Time will tell about how bad an episode  I have.image

Pat; I hope you escape the worst of it. You've just reminded me I need to take my vitamins before I brush my teeth. Dove recommended them to help keep colds away. I'm not sure if they help as my immune system is so pathetic but it's worth a shot for the psychological positive impact alone.

I'm providing emergency cover for a volunteer today so one of our service users doesn't miss out; it's only a shopping trip but I'm rather looking forward to get the chance to do what I "expect" everyone else to do! It means at least I can prove I'm willing to get my hands dirty and of course I'll get a much better idea of what it's like. I wonder how many of the other managers in this organisation would be so willing to give their day off up.

(Also it's raining so I won't be able to do much in the garden anyway).
