Not for me Dove.  OH likes self propelling cheeses whilst I like the ones like mature Cheddar or Vieux Bruges which stay put.   Chaource here is twice the size of the ones we got in Belgium. Should keep him quiet for a while.

Your dinner sounds good FG.  Hope you're feeling more yourself, at least in time for the weekend.

Oh Hosta I have a hotlips I have got "into" salvias this year, have had her for several years, she is white at the moment.  Its the penstamens next. Incidentally, when I met my (second ) Hubby at work our boss called me hotlips, (cos I was nursing before) MASH

His lordship is now full blown cold and sniffles. Along with the dog having a poorly belly (common place; he has IBS like his "mummy") .

I foresee a long night ahead!

Hi everyone. I've woken early and can't get back to sleep - unheard of in this household. I've read back but can't remember much except luscious food which seems out of place at 6.30 in the morning.image

Fairy hope you are feeling better and everyone else is ok. I might have to read back another time later.

How is the foot Dove? I keep meaning to ask.

Fine thanks Fairy ... just the occasional twinge on uneven ground or if I'm walking for too long ... or mainly a combination of the two ....but so much better than it was.

Of course, my dodgy knee needs some quads exercises as my leg was resting up  to stop the foot swelling.  I really need it to be ok for the holiday so I'm working on it image

Some might say this old lady is ugly...

Liri, I can "see" an animal head and ear on right hand side under the leaves . . . on the left , a long necked creature with it's jaws open,

, and, just to the right of that an animal head with two eyes

I have not been on the whisky......just have a vivid imagination.
