I'm just slightly fed up with being house bound. We are going into town tomorrow not matter what. Just need to get out.

Good morning all.  image  Hi Pat - keep warm...

It's forecast dry all day - a good thing because I sprayed next door's bindweed, rosebay willowherb and Japanese knotweed with glyphosate yesterday.  And, with regret, my golden hop, which is making a bid for world domination and springing up through every shrub on my boundary...  I love it, as it adds colour to a shady green bit of the garden, but it's clearly not the 10ft, well-behaved variety I was sold.  image  There are a few over-exuberant things in my garden I wish I hadn't planted but am loath to remove, like the white-stemmed, golden-leaved bramble (Rubus 'Golden Vale').  It's a constant battle to stop the arching stems rooting themselves at the base of some other shrub.  It would definitely take over if I let it...

    Have a lovely weekend everyone!
