I wish they would stop messing with the clocks, they keep saying they are going to stop it, it messes up my internal one, they say it takes a week for your body to adjust.
It gets worse for me, it changes to minus 10 then minus 11 because ours change as well. I don't think they will ever go back to the old way , unfortunately.
Coal face duties today and I've got no Worzle as he's in the garage still so Hubby is taking me in and I have to walk home. Not a long way, but a very long steep hill.
Dry and foggy and VERY Autumnal this morning . Condensation on the windows.
Another bright sunny morning although there are some patches of grey cloud. We lay in bed with the blinds open and watched for Perseids last night and saw several until some cloud drifted across.
hope works not too tiring Hosta
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all/afties Pat. Gorgeous colouring. Love your own paintings though.
Hope hubby perks up soon.
Cool here too Hosta, but a lovely day. Best time of the year here
The little hill will do you good
I haven't read back, but I will with a cuppa. Had to come home from the hill yesterday. I hadn't felt brilliant when I got up, and got worse as time went on. B****y infuriating as it was shaping up to be a perfect hillwalking day. Not the kind of outing to press on with if you don't feel 100% though - it's a big day doing Starav and it's pals - about 9 - 10 hours if you do them all. I'd hoped I might feel well enough to go somewhere today, but still feel a bit shivery so that's that.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Hubby has gone back to bed. He feels rotten and no energy, so he might as well be there as anywhere. He is also having trouble keeping his body temperature even - hot and sweaty one minute, then shivering and cold the next.
Its a bit lonely on my lonesome. I did manage two loads of washing out and in, pulled up a few weeds, put some seed out for the Rosellas, brought arm loads of firewood inside, emptied a bucketful of ash, plus I squeezed in a bit of colouring and jigsawing, etc. etc. just a usual day.

Pat, haven't done anything with my books for a while but will do so when winter comes along.
Morning NB.
Whats the time there Pat? The colouring is impressive, I saw some beautiful butterflies in my veg plot yesterday.
It's 2.47pm Nannyb. We are 9 hours ahead until the clocks change again.

Ps, what colour butterflies did you see? I'm scratching for ideas, and yes I know I can google, but it's nice to hear what others have seen.
Morning all.
Another night of about 4 hours sleep.
