Hope you had a good holiday, GWRS.

Love water melon, but OH doesn't.

We had a chicken stir fry, at last it was fine enough (but a bit chilly!) to eat outside. Nothing we want to watch either. Been chatting, think we'll go to bed soon.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Evening all. BBQ went well, am tired now. Many a homegrown courgette was eaten, either sliced and barbecued, diced and baked in a foil parcel, or spiralised. My desserts went down well - I've just had the last piece of lemon chiffon pie as I hardly ate anything when everyone was here.

    Where has firstborn been, Yvie?

Lots of clearing up still to do so best get to it.

Morning all, up at 5, wandering whether to do the washing, plenty to do in the garden, was just getting light then.

Hi Joyce and Dacha. Have you had your cuppa yet Joyce?image

Dacha, Hubby is as weak as a kitten at the moment, so wouldnt be much use - probably couldn't even lift the chain saws. image

Apologies - should have acknowledged Millie Marotta's lovely drawings. The book is called Tropical Wonderland.
