Just read Liri's post re the phone. You couldn't make it up could you? I once ordered something, and the neighbour took it in. Couldn't figure out what it was - big box about the size of a bread tray that the bakers use. Opened it up -  pair of insoles - which could have gone in a jiffy bag and through the letterbox. image

My daughter changed courses, so I've no idea how long she'll be at Uni! I'll be in the old folks' home by the time she leaves I think image

The pond will be much better. I can move some of the existing planting to give it more room, and I have lots of native primulas and bits and bobs that can go there for a nice spring display. image

Cake's out and cooling, so I can go  and do summat outdoors for a while. Another slab to put in place round the front and a bit of gravelling in the gaps, so that could be today's job. No rest for the wicked image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

The skip has been collected!!!!   The boss had to go and knock on a few doors and ask a few people to move their cars ... the driver wasn't prepared to do that image  Mind you boss agreed with me that it shouldn't have been necessary as the bin lorries go up and down there quite happily with cars and vans parked on the side of the road.  On Monday we had a Luton van parked at the side and two bin lorries drove straight past image

They were not prepared to leave another skip so son will put the last of the rubbish in a heap and they will come and collect it on Friday and barrow it 25 meters down to the skip lorry which will wait at the bottom of the lane.

    I HAVE WON!!!  imageimageimage

But I feel totally emotionally zonked ............................

I'd guess it was no.4 which nobody got right.  I still don't know the answer, having looked up the Greek for "rainbow"...  image

Ah.  A bit of googling suggests a plant which might be named after the Greek goddess of rainbows...  image
