    Morning all.

Massive thunderstorms and downpours last night but they're forecast to move on this morning.

Even the locals are complaining about the weather now, so you can imagine how grumpy the tourists are.

    Hi all.

Today, I shall mostly be building an ark. Stream is now very deep and bringing significant debris down off the moors.

If I can get to the greenhouse, I will take some cuttings.

I need to go somewhere warm, fancy joining me Hosta?

I'm packing as we speak Punkdoc.

I don't care where we go , so long as it's over 25C.

It's the first week in August and I've got joggers and a fleece on. image

It's unseasonably cool here too Hosta with heavy grey clouds all round except for big blue bits to the south.   Warm enough for sleeveless cotton top and pedal pushers tho.    We had more and very welcome rain in the night and should get more today.   Fingers crossed.   i've set tomorrow aside for some serious weeding.

Went for my blood test this morning, only to find the nurses aren't there on Wednesdays so came home via the SM and am just having first coffee.   Delicious!

If you start your washing NB it will rain - and then you can hang it out later.........

    Morning all.

Don't think Dordogne is the place to come on holiday now, rained in the night, 15° at the moment.

Son 1 and family have left, peace! Not a scrap of bread left, don't feel like going out so the bread maker is on. Today will be quiet and restful. Wonder if there is any daytime TV not involving sport.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
