Morning all/afties Pat if you're there. Hope you're  a bit better today

Up to take daughter to work. I'll be glad to get back to work for a rest....image

Fingers crossed for your niece chicky. I met a couple from Brighton on the hill last week. The girl was very excited about having  seen deer when they'd been out a couple of days previously. I didn't mention the one I'd seen beside the road, just before Glencoe - it was more of an 'ex' deer....image

They're talking about  reintroducing wolves in some areas up here. Deer can be a real nuisance since they have no real predators. Not enough food for them over winter, so it's not good for them either. image

Plenty of cake left. You'd be doing me a favour if you eat it.

Morning Chicky, Fairy, Clari .... And anyone I've missed or who come along later ... Love watching deer, as long as they're not in my garden or causing road accidents ...

anyone want some raspberries? Freezers crammed full and I really don't have time for making jam before we go away (did I mention we're going on holiday??? image)

we might just have to eat puddings instead of main courses this week ...

I had to make  sauce with some frozen raspberries Dove, due to emptying the old freezer. It's a tough job but someone had to do it.  Went very nicely with the chocolate cake last night...image

This'd get rid of a few ... https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/11695/raspberry-bakewell-cake ... I could take a big wedge or three up to the farm shop for OH and colleagues ... they're keen on Bakewells up there image
