They'll certainly be coming inside to a cosy windowsill in a month or two Obelixx!
Pelargoniums aren't a favourite plant of mine, but they usually grow well enough in our summers. It's been colder than usual this year though. I've always loved the colour of Lord Bute, so that was really the motivation for getting them
Are you allowing him a putting green if he behaves?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Had a nice lunch with my oldest cousin & his wife, who were up from London, in a vegan restaurant in town. I'm a meat eater but the food was really interesting - and they make interesting fruit juices too. One of us had apple, carrot & ginger.
Our son is coming to stay for the weekend, so that's been a catalyst for a bit of clearing up... I don't suppose for a moment he'll notice, but I will! He's going to accompany his dad for a day on the steam railway, opening & closing level crossing gates and operating signals. (They share a passion for trains...) Our daughter-in-law is less enamoured with railways, and has decided to spend a quiet weekend at home, doing things which she can best accomplish without "help" from our son...
Hope Lord Bute gets some sun soon, Fairy.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
We've had 61mm of rain since mid Jan when we started recording. Our farmer neighbour says winter 2015-16 was very mild and it was unusually wet up until July. Since then, hot August, dry autumn, cold, dry winter and a dry spring with the odd blistering heatwave. The last month has been cool but dry so he's got his wheat in OK but is worried about the sweetcorn for winter feed.
I have everything more or less under control in pots but can't make any headway on new beds or the potager or bigger plans as the ground is rock hard and will need a serious soaking and truck loads of manure to get into any sort of growing condition for permanent beds. Oh well, just have to be patient I suppose. Bound to rain sooner or later.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

We are south of you and have had quite a bit of rain recently, ground is damp. August has been very poor for the holiday makers in Dordogne. Nice day today but drizzle forecast for tomorrow.
Couldn't get on the site earlier, it said "runtime error".
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Maybe, in about 20 years' time. I'm thinking more of golf as a rain dance. 13 months of drought now so something has to give!

Think Joyce, LP and I would find it hard to imagine 3 months of drought, never mind 13, Obelixx
Notlikely to happen here. A week of dry would be nice though

Thoughts are with the Spaniards and those who love Barcelona.
Night night folks

There were problems with the site earlier BL. It was very slow.
Good morning all
A very mild night last night and I'm awake early ... It's dry here in Norfolk with a light breeze.
I wonder what the day will bring ... Think Hosta sees the specialist today ... hope they sort him out quickly ((hugs))

Hello Dove. Yes I've been thinking about Hosta too. Hope something can be done for him soon.
