You are such a "lady" fairygirl,! my Hubby is from "Sarf London" the effing and blinding goes with the terrain. (In MY domain SPAM is pink meat!)  So expensive to have them made so, got the next size up from Dunelm Mill, more expensive than Argos, because they are cord free, thought they would be safer for the grandkids and easier, to pull up and open the windows Well after much e and b, and him saying the blind cutters are ------ useless, we desided, lets cut our loses, go and buy another blind put it on the edge of the recess, instead of next to the glass, he hates anything getting the better of him, so sat and carefully cut them to size with large scissors (the blind is aluminium)drilled the guide holes, then masonary drill for the lintel, and plaster came loose, he has repaired it, awaiting drying.  I do not envy you one little bit Obelixx.Someone put on here last month the conservatory co should at least get my flowers or chocolates after all the problems, about 10 days ago, came home to large bouquet in porch,(Yup from them) note saying she would call back, would have been sensible to ring or text to make sure I was in but heyho.Had a little gentle "potter" picked up some light twigs, sticks, put into garden waste bin.

What's he got his beady eye on, Hosta?  They're beautiful birds, though.  image

    Beautiful creature!

Well my plans to sort the kitchen have failed terribly. But I at least now can snooze on the sofa with blackberry type Bakewell and pear /chocolate crumble.

    Gorgeous visitor Hosta.  image

Well - I'm 330 quid lighter, but at least that's the car roadworthy for another little while. Not too bad really, all things considered.

I'm enlarging the pond...not sure I should have started that...image

Snoozing with a crumble sounds much better  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Ooof! The air has been blue here on several occasions with blind dramas! The one in my utility room still needs trimming really but the famous line: "ble*p it! that'll do" was the end of that saga.

Loving the raptor Hosta! I found owl pellets on the lawn yesterday and got excited so that is fabulous.

My garden and I live in South Wales.

He had his beady eye on a young ( ish ) magpie, but they just sort of looked at each other then both flew off.

Remarkable turn of events here this morning. I took the dogs for a walk and I wasn't wearing a coat imageNo, really. And I didn't feel at all chilly even so.

I usually only pop in here in the morning and don't post often but just have to say that courgette cake which Dove has posted the recipe for is something else. Looks dull, doesn't smell that special but it's amazing.

    Thanks Dove x
