Bright here too Joyce, but some dark clouds looming. It's been quite damp overnight so my dry mortar mix will be nicely set by now, I think.
Doors - one of the greatest inventions! Can't abide them not being closed when folk come in and out. Does anyone else hate that? You had to open the d*mn thing to come in, so why can't you shut it behind you?
Is doc away already? Not seen him recently.
All the tomato talk is making me slightly regret not gorwing nay this year. No growhouse though.
Could have done with a bit more sleep too chicky. Slept very badly on Saturday night too.
Work beckons though. Have a good day everyone.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Fairy; don't start me on leaving doors open! Especially when it's blowing a gale outside and you're paying to warm the house.
My tomato harvests are proving a gentle trickle; ideal really in terms of no glut but it means they are still rarely making it back to the kitchen. Just a quick taste test as I walk by...
I've got some tomatoes outside; apparently they're meant to taste sweeter. I'll let you know if I can taste a difference. Certainly there's no other benefit I can see to growing outside as they seem to need as much water as my pot bound ones in the greenhouse.
Pat; I hope your weather gives you a few sunny days soon. It's looking like a grey grim day here today though I've just seen the weather report for tomorrow when I'll be doing a lot of driving; I'd best pack a snorkel!
Morning, dont often shut the doors, (am very clostraphobic) we have an open plan bungalow, I do have an all singing and dancing cooker hood, but really should remember to shut the bedroom doors when cooking, tend to keep them open to let the light flood thru. Had the grandkids to stay last week while Mum is at work, in and out the b****y conservatory every couple of minutes, banging the doors or in grandsons case having a job shutting them, we are "leave the b****y doors alone!" Day out yesterday went on the Romney,Hythe and Dymchurch railway, what a delight, lovelly day out.
Clari. Thanks for your warmer weather wishes, but they'll need to be extra powerful wishes, I think . The darned wind is the worst part of it. It's been awful outside today - again. I suppose I should be more generous for the skiers wanting to have fun, but .....

Hello everyone. Having another lazy day inside today - a bit boring. But I'm hopeful thevweather will brighten up soon.
I don't really like them shut -apart from the loo of course.
B3, a closed door keeps the heat in a room in the winter, hides an unmade bed and a spare room full of "stuff".
