The new Bake-Off starts on 29th August. I like Prue Leith. I'll give it a go.
What a pain about the skip, hope they sort it.
Should be a lovely evening for the BBQ. 26° now. I've got disposable plates, the church cutlery and the glasses from daughter's wedding and lots of easy care tablecloths, in answer to Obelixx. Oh and the soft brown sugar (Vergeoise) that I mentioned on the café thread comes from Leclerc SM.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Clari - no idea, but how beautiful . I shall await the answer with interest.....
Dove There are two companies who deliver reliably here. All the rest it's pot luck if you get a decent driver. Beats me why they think you won't notice they are lying. Muppets.

Dove, I was planning on sending you a cheerful message to end your hardworking day, but I think it'd be better to just pretend it didn't happen. Hope you get a good sleep tonight.
You would have thought the big company (based down in Essex) might have wondered why the small company they were taking over onlyhad small lorries ... or did they, in in their superiority, think it was because they were a small company? It was because all the little market towns in Suffolk have little back lanes and back alleys which are difficult to man-oeuvre big lorries around.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I'm glad the day did happen ... son has had a hard time since the collapse of his marriage and consequently his business. He was in a dark place for quite a while. Now he's back doing what he does best, working in the music industry (sound engineer/production etc) and after a ten year gap old friends and colleagues are welcoming him with open arms ... lots of really exciting things are happening for him and he's so excited and I'm so relieved Looks like a working trip to Mumbai is on the cards for him if all goes well ...
Moving out of the place he shared with the ex will hopefully be very cathartic
