I always liked Prue Leith on British Menu and have a couple of her books which I like too. We'll record Fake Off and give it a go. Better to have low expectations sometimes.
Joyce - what a shock for your friend. You too given your recent loss. I hope you can comfort each other.
DD - Brilliant! So very pleased for you and I hope Charlie is too busy having fun to be jealous anymore.
Busy - hope all goes well. I find once you get past 20 it doesn't get more complicated, just bigger, as long as you have all the crocks and cutlery you need.
FG - does she just like early starts or maybe early finishes?
Fine and sunny here. I'm on sewing duties till mid afternoon and will then go and sun myself before a bit of preening. Anniversary dinner at a posh local restaurant - 34 years. How did we manage that?
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Great to see DD back, with such good news (and scrummy cakes... ) Hard work rewarded, I think. Best wishes to you and Charlie.
Joyce, what a shock for your friend, and for you too. She will value your friendship even more at the moment, I'm sure.
Welcome back, LG! Hope the holiday was good. Looking forward to ogling more gardens - never seen that one.
Not sure which Bake-Off to watch now. Maybe neither...
It's hard enough to find time to post on here, let alone a second chat thread. I do look at the other one occasionally, but feel I don't "know" most of the posters there, like I "know" you lot... if you see what I mean...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
I never go anywhere, at any time of year without a coat r'girl. That's asking for trouble up here....
It was so warm yesterday, I had to take my fleece off. I was digging though....
Obs - I wouldn't mind but - for 7am ... when I'm off work as well
I should let her get the bus! At least there is one on weekdays at that time. I'm too soft. I started work by that time when I was her age, and that was 6 days a week, and earlier on show days.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Sorry all if I am boring you with my posts but got bored sitting in the clinic waiting for OH.....so decided to sit in the car with my PC and trusty wi-fi and .......well post
I'd just like to point out that it's raining here now
DL - I used to spend many many hours sitting in a car staring out to sea while my OH bobbed about on a surf board. I wish I'd had a PC and trusty wi fi then - could have covered the internet with photos of grey skies, grey sea, rain on the windscreen and teeny black blobs in the distance. Still. Read a lot of books in those days. And ate a lot of chips. Hope your wife is on the mend - is it a back clinic or a migraine one?

?
Shurely not
Just found myself wondering what kind of legal dispute would require the services of an advocado. .....

That's as good as you're getting.
