I might have to come and visit too Hosta. Can you let me know when it'll not be above twenty-ish?
Not really caught up with today's doings, but I agree with you re the athletics. The fault lies with governing bodies, the way they conduct themselves, and the penalties they apply. It isn't always the athletes' fault. Michael Johnson was also discussing the hypocrisy - no one made a big fuss while he wasn't really challenging Bolt, but once that became the case, suddenly it's headline news. I felt sorry for the poor lad that was 2nd - he beat Bolt too, but could hardly get a mention.
Glad you had a nice time doc. I thought it was later in the month you were going. I could see the Lochnagar hills well from the hill on Sunday. Those were about the only hills anywhere that were rain and clag free in the afternoon. Ballater's lovely, great to see it 'on the mend' , although they did a piece on Landward here a while ago showing it's recovery.
It cleared up here after all the rain this morning. I've done a bit of deadheading and picked carrots which I roasted for the dinner. They've been very easy, virtually ignored them after sowing, so I might do more pots of them next year. Definitely less hassle than tomatoes LP!
Have you had a chance to breathe yet BL?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Busy - they were in Leclerc in La Roche-s-Y. I use that one and one in Luçon and one in Olonnes and they all have different fish and seafood offerings as well as different meats and even different veggies, herbs and spices. Different client base for each one and loads more foreigners and holiday makers in the latter two.
No storm alerts here but we may, if we're very lucky, get almost a centimetre of rain on Wednesday before it all starts to heat up again. That being so we shall go to La Rochelle this Friday and the Marais Poitevin around Damvix next week - lots of canals and dykes and shaded by many trees.
I don't think I've ever done anything on E-bay.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
