Hi folks, Hope everyone is OK.  I'm still packing for tomorrow's holiday so haven't had any time to read back.

I just thought I would let you know that Secondborn's wedding was beautiful and share a few photos of her wedding flowers.

So pleased it was a a beautiful day Yvie.  Thanks for taking the time to pop in and let us know.  Enjoy your hols.  Well earned downtime and now for some relaxation I hope.

Anniversary dinner was lovely - table in the garden, clear skies, warm breeze, lovely roses and a campsis in full trumpet mode up a wall, song birds singing and owls hooting at dusk and very tasty food.   One Spanish couple, 6 Dutch tho I'm stll not convinced - very laid back and jolly for Dutch people and eating out in a restaurant so I thought more likely Flemish Belgian?  Everyone else French.

Home now for some decaf and then bed.

    Sweet dreams everyone.

Beautiful wedding flowers Yviestevie. I wish I had thought to keep some of my wedding flowers to press or preserve them but I still always smile at yellow and cream Alstroemerias and Roses which remind me of my bouquet.

Hope everyone doing ok today. Two eldest neieces called in for kitten viewing and apple harvesting... good fun.

And such lovely wedding flowers, Yvie image

Intended to do so much gardening today and ended up mowing the lawn only. If it was the size of Hosta's lawn that might be reasonable, but it's teeny. Don't know where the time went.

Have been visiting brother this evening. I've no right to feel so tired!

Glad you all had a great day Yvie ... Lovely flowers image

Ambulance at opposite neighbours earlier and he was taken to hospital ... he had major abdominal surgery about ten days ago and it seems there's an infection. His wife came over to see us when she got back from the hospital. He's on antibiotics and they're keeping him in until he picks up, which she doesn't expect to be long. I imagine they're both well into they're late seventies... we don't know them well but have a little chat if we're both out the front at the same time ...a nice couple ... Hope he's ok.

Now it's time for bed so sweet dreams folks image

Was shattered yesterday - littlest Chicklet was up all night the previous night with a cold/flu bug - not pleasant, poor thing. She recovered during the course of the day yesterday, and by the evening was raring to go again.....amazing how quickly yoofs shake these things off.  Remains to be seen if the rest of us succomb to it image.
