Our son has been through it too since his partner and he broke up. So, I understand how bad it can get. Best wishes for his future.

    Thank you Pat ((hugs))

Your son has a cat who is very precious to him ... my son has one as well ... they've been together through thick and thin and son has found it very hard to find a place to rent that will accept the cat ... thankfully this place belonging to friends has just become available image

I can't stand the acceptance of people lying.  It only seems to matter what size your lie is image

Joyce the sun is shining here

my heart is breaking for my wee family relocating in London. Their dogs ( who have travelled from HK to Moscow with them) are not to be allowed to stay in their flat when they arrive next week. The factors have changed the rules! There will only be six months grace. Yet another battle on her handsimage

Whenever we order a delivery of something big or that may come in a big truck I have to reassure people the lanes are wide enough and the entrance big enough so it can't be rocket science for companies who earn their money doing deliveries to have suitable vehicles and know their territory.

Changing location should help a lot.  New adventure apart from losing unhappy associations.

LP - I hope your family find a doggy solution soon.   Frustrating and disappointing.

Sun still shining and I've done enough sewing for today so i'm off out to cut the weeds masquerading as grass.  There's a delicious smell of mint in some areas but also an occasional blade of grass!  OH has been busy trimming back the hedge and some shrubs to make passage easier and less scratchy.  The brambles in there yield good fruit but are a bit unfriendly to bare skin.

Interesting about the beloved cat, Dove. He said she sneaks into his bed and spends the whole night with him. He hasn't had contact with his son and daughter for a few years, image and when he has tried to contact them on line, he gets a face full of abuse, so we don't know what rubbish she has told them.

It's best to put it all behind us.

Oh Pat.  Does that mean you have no contact with your grandkids either?  Dreadful.

None at all Obelixx.theyre now 19 and 17 but we haven't seen them for several years. She (the ex) married quite quickly after the split and had another 4 kids.

Ive got the miseries tonight after thinking about him and how bad it's been for him, so if you don't mind, I'll not talk about it any more. It's after midnight and I'm going to sleep soon. Catch you all tomorrow.

Hugs Pat.  Try and sleep well.

I have just finished cutting the "grass" and watering all my pots and am filthy from all the dust I threw up.  Lots of assorted insects and flutterbies , including a vivid yellow one so I have left some of the wild flowers to grow on - achilleas, umbellifers, pretty teeny blue flowers, mallows and, believe it or not, eryngium maritinum!  Plus all that mint and some nettles round the edges of the ruin and barn.

Speaking of cats, last night was the first undisturbed night since they came.  No nighttime cuddles or nose butting or trampolining.
