Mmmmmm!  Dove. You're right of course, but I do try to be good.

There is the strangest cloud appearing on the east.

It all depends on how it's being lit Pat ... if the sun's shining through it it's red ... if the sun has sunk lower then it's grey ... lighting is so important image

Hosta ... are you about this morning?  This'll cheer you up ...

Looks healthy to me ... and very beautiful image

    Morning all.

Thanks for the kind wishes. x

Dove, that does indeed cheer me up. I was dreading the thought that I'd spread Canna virus your way.

My horrible day was followed by a horrible night of hardly any sleep, followed by an early morning call from Hubby. " Oh. wasn't that you who just called me? " " No, I was asleep" " Sorry image"

The weater this morning  is vile , vile , vile. Very windy, very overcast and very rainy.

I think I will really have to slap the next person who says " It's too hot" within my earshot.

    Devon.

    Lovely colour of Canna, Dove.

Prefer that to the "in your face" ones.

But by the time we get to yours the sun will be shining and everything will be lush and green image

Joyce ... I'd never grown cannas before ... this one was a present from Hosta ... and I've managed to over-winter it and get it to bloom again image

And have you noticed that beautiful buttery-yellow and green hosta behind it ... it's called Stained Glass and we bought it from Burncoose when we were down there a couple of years ago ... thanks to Hosta telling me to give it more sun it's looking fabulous this year image
