Ok how about this one then? never seen a spider like this before. I am in Suburban N London not anywhere exotic. It was on the pillar by our front door, this is the right way up. Disappeared after a day.
I love spiders - well most of them, and will happily pick one up to put outside as they often find their way into our house, and your harvestman is a lovely specimen Iain.
Crane fly/Daddy longlegs - we have plenty of them in the garden and often have one flying around in the house at night josusa. They are one of my personal indications that autumn is here - another is conkers falling off the tree along the road here.
Yes, they are about at this time of year. Got quite a few in the garden, on the lawn & in the borders. Here's a photo taken some years ago, of a specimen covered in morning dew.
"Can I grow hemp agrimony from seed? It seems to be popular with a number of insects and may encourage them into our garden."
You probably can, as they tend to re-seed themselves readily. I removed the 3 specimens I had planted 3 years ago and I still get the odd one growing in my border. Not sure where you can buy the seeds, but you could try to get some from the ones growing in the wild (if you can find any). They are found next to deep ditches on the roadside next to woody areas.
I will have a look for them at the seed section of the GC, I don't recall seeing Hemp A growing here in the wild, but perhaps I haven't looked in the right places.
The dew drop crane fly is a lovely picture - right place right time, well captured on camera Papi

I saw a dead daddylonglegs so they must be about. I hate them flying near my hair so I call for assistance to put them outside.
