Wool carder bee. The yellow markings are distinctive. They're the ones you see nicking the fluff from mullein and lambs ear plants.

Very cool. She was just by some lambs ears. Hurrah! I wonder if she would be nesting in one of the bee boxes..

Is that another euphemism like dropping the kids off at the pool? Cos I think those are poops not babies

Not sure what this is, some sort of green soldier fly I think (and an aphid photobombed my photo).

It's a Large White butterfly caterpillar and the eggs are from a parasitic wasp of some kind that have been growing inside it.
