    So true! At the moment mine are just invertebrates (mosquito larvae, mayfly larvae, worms, water beetles, water lice, snails and some other things to small to photograph to ID) but I think I may set up the wildlife camera by the pond to see if the frog/toad is using it.

    Was very amused by this unexpected piggy face this morning on the back of this bug.

    Woo hoo ! 2 frogs in the pond! At last things are happening for my wildlife pond.

    I was in a local park today. They have a large areas of insect friendly planting ( mostly coreopsis, sunflowers and cornflowers plus the usual other wildflower suspects) Maybe it was the cool weather, but I have more bees and butterflies in my garden than I saw there. I saw one bee.
