I must add that I am talking about nests - we have had less than a dozen nests here and in Sark, but that potentially means an awful lot of Asian hornets making their home here, mostly from Normandy and Brittany.
Unfortunately, they are here too, can’t get near my fig tree for them feasting on the burst fruit. Two hedgehogs have been feasting on the fallen fruit in the evenings, though, which is a far cheerier sight.
