Warm weather these past few days, following upon frost & snow last week. Spotted a couple of bees, one bumblebee and one hummingbird hawk-moth (Macroglossum stellatarum) feeding on a flower of lesser periwinkle! Can't remember seeing that moth that early in season.
Not many flowers in bloom to attract bees & other insects at the moment. Just captured a pic of this lonely bee feeding on a flower of Helleborus Glenda's Gloss.
