Just the left hand Dove and not as bad as yesterday so I can sew but not lift or carry or grab. Love basil and may get some more going as well as spring onions and coriander as they are very hard to find here. Moroccan fish tagine for dinner and I'm having to use flat leaf parsley instead of coriander.
I have a dog or two when I go for walkies so no poles for me anyway tho I expect my knees may appreciate them.
Possum has just spat out the ginseng tea she made me buy yesterday. Need to find some flavouring to make it palatable as it's not going on the compost heap!
Hosta - I hope the flat emptying goes without a hitch or a mess. Saw a report on Rip Off Britain abut a chap havng a bad do with AirB&B when he discovered his tenant was letting out thru them and they refused to take it off their books even tho he was the owner and could prove it. Seems they're very remote and answer emails by computer. Maybe best to use a local/UK agency to start with.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Can you start becoming a "coaster adict" puncdoc, for the thrills! Hope you got it worked out. Took my toy Leo to vet for teeth clean/extraction yesterday, it only a few miles from my daughter and she needed me to babysit as she was working early this morning, so I stayed over back home now. deised to plant the kale where we dig dug the Charlottes from it bucketed down, I sayed for a bit determined, but gave up think its easing off now, so back to it. Got my appointment to have my "lumps" looked at by a consultant, Tuesday, so REALLY nervous!
We get lots of dragonflies here Fairy ... we're on the edge of marshes in the Yare Valley and close to the Norfolk Broads ... but they don't usually come indoors ......... although for some reason the red damselflies do
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
My problem, is not a desperate desire to do good, although that is a nice side effect, but a desire for thrills and spills, which are just not available in other volunteering.
When I was younger and fitter, I did a lot of mountain biking and climbing and I relaxed in the hills. Now I relax by gardening, but can't seem to find the thrills.
Hope the flat is left in a good state Hosta.
Am going to try and mow the lawns, as no rain yet today.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
I' have thought mountain rescue ideal then Pdoc. More exciting than just climbing and better for OH than rushing off to war zones just because you need some excitement. You may even find you can divert your need for thrills by finding satisfaction in helping the less fortunate nearer home.
NB - good luck for Tuesday. Better to sort it sooner than later!
Love your visitor Dove. If bulldozer man ever turns up I shall plant some lovely insect attracting goodies in the boggy bits of our pond. Seen lots of tiger moths and other fluttery folk but no damsels or dragons.
We have drizzle, on and off. Lovely for all those holidaymakers streaming in. OH and Possum are off to Longeville for a spot of surfing now the tide is on the turn. I am off to sew. Sowing can wait another day and a bit more flexibility.

Methinks the flat is being vacated as we speak. Lots of coming and going with Dad's van too. I'm thinking they're staying at parents overnight and coming back for last minute tidying / cleaning.
Punkdoc, we had a friend who was an RAF medic and when he left the forces got a job with the London air ambulance. Methinks he was younger, but I'm sure there's stuff out there for you.
Oh, meant to say. Cape Verde: you mentioned it yesterday.
If you think quiet = peaceful, you'll like it. If you think quiet = dull, you won't.
We've been twice and liked it, but my daughter and her then boyfriend thought it too quiet.
We're going to The Gambia twice this winter as we don't see any point in paying " all inclusive" when we're not drinking booze.
