    Fairy, seeds arrived. Thanksimage

Beechgrove.....the daisy bush was superb and not what you would expect up in Orkney.

    Morning all.

Hope Pat and her OH are enjoying their weekend break.

Very windy again today but at least it's dry.

    Morning all, afternoon Pat,

Posting two days in a row! I'm practically a regular again! image fell asleep on the sofa covered in cats as predicted Clari!

    Morning Dove image

Much to do today as we have friends here for the weekend, so everything must be done before I start to try and relax! Washing is on, probably set to rain as soon as its ready to go out! image Sainsburys shop to do, trying to summon up the motivation but I prefer to shop late at night when no one else is using it!

Haven't admitted to still being in purple dressing gown on second coffee,  it I think we all know it to be true! image

Hope everyone has a lovely day ahead image

    Morning all.

Fell asleep around 5.30 and Hubby switched the alarm off and let me sleep until 9am.

Tenants are moving  stuff out, ( washing machine and tumble dryer both on , OBVIOUSLY )

Fairy, I tried hypnotherapy , to no avail.

Cortisol levels have come back "normal" but I'm waiting to see the endocrinologist now.

DD, I'm so glad it's all going so well for you. You both deserve it. xx

    Devon.

    Morning all.

Wind and rain in the night but woke up to sunshine. Hope it stays sunny, washing to hang out and local gardens are having an Open Day.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Morning Wonky image  ... have a lovely weekend ... make the visitors help with the washing up image

Hosta, glad you got some sleep at least ((hugs))

I've done my shopping ... dashed up to the farm shop early ... grabbed milk, a chicken and some lemons and new potatoes to make roast lemon and tarragon chicken tomorrow, some smoked salmon bits and two pots of double cream which had been reduced so they've gone in the freezer to make a quiche at a later date, some Chinese-style pork rashers which will do for later in the week and a dressed crab for my lunch today.

The washing is on the line and I'm just grabbing a coffee before going out with the secateurs to prune the espalier pear and take some bottom leaves off the tomatoes ... seems like Monty and I are in sync for once ... and five years ago we were getting ready for a very important wedding too image

Morning all! The hound and I are home alone today as his lordship is off with friends going to Silverstone Classic as part of his birthday celebrations. I wasn't invited naturally as it's a boys thing: I'm starting to think he forgot that one of the big reasons we got together was because we both enjoyed classic cars. I'd not have been allowed to have gone anyway because of the hound, shame really because one of our friends is taking his new girlfriend (so much for the boys thing) and I'd have quite liked to have met her.

I'm in charge of keeping a Twitter account up to date with activities of our group (traction engines) at Car Fest North. It looks amazing there (but very wet). They all look like they're having fun though!

Trying to think of somewhere I can go out tomorrow, or Monday at least. The trouble is wirh it being school holidays everywhere is so busy And expensive.

Hoping it stays dry today  although Im not sure it will as I'm on a washing marathon; I may have to put the heating on to dry things.

I actually managed to watch Gardeners world for the first time in ages; must get my pear tree pruned now!
