Cheers Clarington .....just thought it was a bit strange .....because if we wash our guy in the morning he is so pernickety that he won't go outside again image

And here was I envying your lovely green countryside. Compared to our dry dull colours, yours positively glows. I think that's why we enjoy Michael Portillo and the Tour Dr France etc for watching the countryside.image

Morning all/afties Pat - fab photo. They know how to live, don't they? image

As Joyce says - beautiful day here, but I can't lie around like a roo all day unfortunately. image

Beautiful pic too Dacha. Water is so calm and still. Would you like to put that on the camera thread too? We have all sorts of stuff on there and it's nice for folk to see them if they don't look in on this thread  image

chicky  image Might be worth a trip to the doc first.  It's patello femoral pain have so the braces I use are specifically for that. I wouldn't want to recommend anything that wasn't suitable. It could be your footwear that's causing an issue though.

    Clari - wet, stinky dog...image

Hope Hosta got back to sleep  image

Have a great day BL - make the most of your break. Hope the sun shines, and we expect some photos

You're right Dove - lovely when the t'interweb isn't used for trolling, flaming and vitriol  image

Better go and get ready for t'mill. Catch you all later.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    See original post

They are funny things! If Reggie gets bathed in the afternoon he tends to end up needing hair drying otherwise he's still damp when he tries to climb onto the bed for evening cuddles. Eww! I don't like hair drying him in case it dries his skin out and makes him itchy.

He also has panic poos when his bum gets wet but seeing as how it's breakfast time for most I'll not go into that!

    More tea anyone?

Good morning, as Joyce and Fairy have said already it's a beauty

after leaving the garden a week I will be spending most of the day dead heading,  cooking required too tho as family arrive tomorrow

Dove are you fully recovered? Take it easy please, holiday soon isn't it?

Chicky glad all is well down under. Are you planning on going out?

Pat we were chatting about Roos last week with second born whose memories are of them all around us when we used to holiday in Merimbula

Fairy, surely all the shows are over? You must be due a long rest!

Clari We take the hose to our princess ni matter what the weather, she takes it well, the ither one would run a mile!

Dacha hit the "latest posts" and you will be surprised what comes up. Lots of regulars with amazing knowledge but don't post in this thread

poor Hosta, he must be so weary of this.

was this the weekend Punk was up north? Hope he is still there today for this weather!

Hostafan course if we didnt get frosts, a lot of plants, like Kale and sprouts wouldnt realese their sugers, and a lot of other plants actually need a cold snap, to re-grow, when I am walking the dogs in winter, I always say I would rather it is frosty with the sun out, than rain and biting wind, which soaks and chills you to the bone.

Not a nice day today , however , need a rest , as I ache a bit from yesterdays major pruning jobs

Currently waiting for plumber to fix a dripping ball cock in expansion tank in loft , then taking a load of books to charity shop  , oh the excitement image

Don't think I'll be able to overdo it today LilyP ... we've had mizzly rain for the past half hour and the grass is probably too wet to mow as planned and OH will help move the pots for the new hedgehog feeding station ... supper will be leftover gammon from yesterday with beans, eggs and chips so quite a lazy day ahead ... I'll just wave a duster at a few surfaces and sweep the floor and get on with pompom making I suppose .........
