    Morning all.

Oh dear, Nanny Beach, I hope it gets sorted.

We are going to DD's Chateau du Gateau for lunch today.

We are off to Son 1's 2 younger daughters' christening on Friday near Auxerre. Then to Norfolk on Monday. The nice Housesitter is coming. Must make his bed. Then soon after we get back in early August Son 2's baby son will be christened and the rest of the family will be staying here. Lot of beds to make!

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Saw Topbird's post about Kieron Williamson. We went to Holt last year and saw a lot of his paintings on exhibition in a gallery there. Brilliant! Especially for one so young. There was a programme about him on BBC last year too, I wonder if that is the same one Topbird saw. We bought a couple of prints, the paintings were way beyond our budget! https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=kieron+williamson+2017&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi858HB5IDVAhUCExoKHZeWC2IQ_AUIBigB&biw=1188&bih=559

    Hi all.

Very wet here, so another lazy day.

Please don't talk about winter yet, I am hoping for at least 3 more months of summer. Will need to start planning some winter sun.

NDNs seem to have blocked my car in, so need to go round for a quiet chat. It will probably end up not being that quiet.

    Morning

BL - enjoy lunch at DD's place. You could do a nice Trip Advisor review for herimage

I didn't see the programme about Kieran Williamson last year so I don't know if this was the same one - I got the impression it was a new programme.

This one is called "Mini Monet Millionaire" and showed him painting in the field, setting up for a new exhibition and talking about the new directions he is pursuing in his work. He seems to be doing more with figures and portraiture. I loved his depiction of the Port Isaac crab dressers.

Incredible talent. You'll be able to watch it on iPlayer next weekimage

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
