Thanks folks. I'm just on my second cuppa. Slowly, slowly, is the plan. My daughter who took us to the Burns Club for our celebration meal on Saturday is also having similar problems as me, and our son to a lesser extent. It seems to me that something there was not up to scratch. Not much point making a fuss about it. My daughter has been there many time without problems, so we must have struck something odd.
Still cold today. Sorry about your sleep pattern Hosta.
Hosta: Funny you say about the light. I realised last night I was getting more aware if the outside light when it comes on now. I guess winter would explain it. Hopefully we've a little way to go yet although today the rain will fall all around us (good job too really; my lawn is most in need of it).
There's something definately wrong with my ear but I'll get into the office today to sort my team out and then hopefully get a doctors appointment. My concern is it's my hearing aid ear so if my brain leaks out of that side we're going to be in a right mess.
Have a good day everyone!
Go gentle Dove! No need to be wonder woman now your toes are once again exposed.
No need to worry about me overdoing things ... OH will be watching me like a hawk I'm sure, and there's still tennis to watch.
Pat, I think you should mention it to the Burns Club, not to make a fuss but just to alert them. How can they put things right if they don't know they're going wrong?
Hope everyone has a good day today

Morning all/afties Pat. I'd agree with Dove - you should mention it. Hope you're better soon. Horrible thing to have.
Dull here but at least the rain's gone for a little while. I might getthe grass cut later, but the cupboards are a bit bare too so Imay need to go the horrible 'supermarche'. Can you deliver up here Hosta? It's not that far for you really....
Glad you've made a bit of progress with your eye LP.
Autumn tints here on a few things too Joyce. The rowans at the Co-op have berries which are quite orange now, as are some of the cotoneasters in my garden. Some of my oakleaf hydrangea foliage is turning, although it seems to do that quite early - before it flowers properly.
The Nadal match was stunning. I was trying to do the dinner - it may have been slightly overcooked...
Better go and get organised. Catch you all later, if other things don't get in my way.....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I'll have to ask my daughter to speak to the club - it is near where she lives and she goes there regularly. We have never been before, besides - she is a member.
NOT happy! Was told old conservatory removed covered in tarps, no they didnt and it rained floor soaking, have rung office, AND to cap it blokes havent turned up, I wasnt rude, jus left message saying no tarps, rain, laminate floor soaked, ring me! No-one has, have used this firm (local family) loads of times before, know you have a mess have had 3 conservatories built before, last Friday they left all the soffits, gutters on side path had to squeeze by and move everything, to get to water the greenhouse there, which has corgettes, peas and seedlings, its been so hot I have had to water daily. Now, waiting for them to come so I can go to my daughters, and take the dogs out, my back door opens into the conservatory, bungalow is open plan, so I cant let the ogs out in the garden, at the moment.

I hope your changingbseason isn't indicating that our summer is coming early. I'm not ready for the 30 degree plus days yet.
