Barely stopped raining since teatime yesterday LP, but at least it's warmer today - about 16 when I took daughter to work at 12. It's supposed to be reasonable tomorrow further north, but it's changed countless times since Monday of course
Nanny Beach - I've had loads of building work done in various properties - mostly good, but my sister had a dreadful experience with a company doing her conservatory - a local, well recommended one as well. They built it on founds that were barely six inches deep. She had to go down the legal route. I think I'd start mentioning lawyers getting involved if I were you. They sound totally incompetent, and possibly think they can fob you off with any old s**t. have you taken photos? It's really worth doing that - with the dtaes on them.
Clari - I'm with Joyce. No offence but...your other half sounds very selfish. If you're both bringing home large pay packets then fair enough, fill your boots etc, but it's clear from your comments that that isn't the case.
Hope you have a slightly rmore relaxing day chicky. You've been rushed off your feet! Glad the chicklets are both fine
Is the foot working well Dove?
Have you been in pain again Hosta? I've not read back very far.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
A while back a couple of nice teenage lads came around cleaning cars ... they gave mine a thorough going over for a tenner and it gleamed like new ... I realised it hadn't been done since the day before Ma died, April 2016 and that was by the nice Eastern European team in the Waitrose car park ... they're not there any more I'll have to keep paying the nice teenage lads

A nice bit of Cropwell Bishop Stilton and pink lady apple and some crackers for lunch.
I'm going to call Doc on Monday morning and go see her re both pain and my blood results.
Fingers crossed as yesterday afternoon was NOT FUN.
Clari, I hope your Husband uses his more than mine does.
Yes, that's cobwebs all over the bag. I'm not even sure if he's ever opened the bag.

Pink Lady apples are my absolute favourite. Mmmmm!
Of course, they are an Australian cultivar, you realise.
Im going to bed when David Bowie finishes his concert. (Dublin)
i don't know why they have to put the good stuff on so late. It's already after midnight!
We sat through Sting with his shipyard concert and I got ready to pack up and then noticed Mr Bowie was also coming on.
