Fell out with Toby B when he did all those daft, it-won't last-5-minutes projects and threw his tools about.
Huge respect for Chris B who is intelligent, qualified, articulate and communicates his love of plants in a way that enthuses people to have a go. Can do sort of chap with a sense of humour too.
MD used to present Fork to Plate or some such on Channel 4, I believe, and, for his sins, I believe it was AT who suggested him as a replacement when he decided to leave.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
"The price good men (and women) pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men (and women)."
Just a bit too many pretty pictures of plants and close ups of dogs and not enough sensible advice. I would like a really good chunk of "what to do in the garden now" and maybe each week feature a more unusual plant with care instructions and general information. Just 2 things I would enjoy I am sure other people have suggestions.
I Like the way Geoff Hamilton was so practical and made everything himself So much more practical than Monty Don - with Monty you have no idea what his garden looks like it’s all so bitty

I quite liked Toby Buckland. And of course Chris Beardshaw.

Lovely Beechgrove programme this week, back to its usual format.
