    Hubby:

" what the hell have I done with that other pair of glasses?     Oh.. I've got them on"

    That made me laugh.

    Hi all.

Just been watching the rugby, great performance from the Lions.

Feel sorry for those going to Chatsworth today, we have rain of biblical proportions.

Can I order 1 of those sandwiches please Dove ?

    Have a lovely day all.

Morning all/afties Pat. Hope the weather's being kind to you today.

Not mentioning politics of any kind - it's a right royal shambles...an even bigger one than it already was.

Had one of your night's sleeps Hosta. Woke at half two. Eventually got back to sleep about five-ish for a few hours.  Chucking it down here since about three so I'm glad I made the effort to cut the grass, and do all the hedge with my new hedgetrimmer yesterday evening. image

Glad you got your cabinet sorted Obelixx. How do they manage to do something like that wrong!

Hope you're feeling better today amberspy. Rubbish when you're not yourself.

    How's the knee doing Dove?

Pat; your nudge must have worked. His lordship is now cooking a full English breakfast! There seems to be enough for a least six (there's only two of us) so get your plates ready.

For anyone else whose meant to be on a diet; we'll start again on Monday!!

Rain seems to be lifting slightly. I dare not check the weather station.

Hi Fairy. I wrote a note to you,  along with several others earlier, then the whole darned thing disappeared. I couldn't force myself to do it again. I did suggest you might like to put another of your lovely photos on the jigsaw site if your wrist hasn't been overworked.image

Our weather is rotten, but it means I can stay inside With the wood heater going all day,

hope you have a good weekend.

Been wet most of the week here Hosta so everything has been growing like mad. It cleared up just after I finished work yesterday and I made the effort to do the grass etc as I knew it was to be wet again today. Thought about walking instead as the  weather's to be rubbish all weekend, even at lower level, but I badly needed to do the hedge. It was looking a bit 'unkempt' image

we've had rain here too, but it's either downpours or just enough drizzly rubbish to be annoying and stop me getting stuff done.

Nice, steady proper rain with no gale force wind is what we needed.

I'm heading into the tunnel shortly to get rid of my cannas which have all succumbed to virus. image
