Glad you got some good buys on your shopping trip DD ??, shame that the china is being tricky to source ?. Some great bunting ideas from chrissie. Could your tablecloth lady do a bit of extra stitching for you? Maybe cut out the triangles yourself and have her attach them together (don't know what you call the string bit ).
Hi DD, I have been following your adventures with great interest and wish you all the luck for the future. I thought the following could be of use to you as there are pictures of the menus.
I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this link on here! I personally have nothing whatsoever to do with this place but have enjoyed a lovely cup of tea and cake there!
If I can find out anymore for you I will let you know.
Yes - I'm afraid I was responsible for the name - I'm glad you liked it
You really are moving on well with your plans and I wish you all the very best.
I'll have a think about B&B names although I do think there is some mileage in keeping some sort of link to the tearoom. I'll mull it over my evening G&T
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Hello all, Getting ever closer to Opening Day now and after all the months of feeling frustrated at lack of action now there are not enough hours in the day. Enjoying every minute though.
Here is a flyer of which I have a 1000 going around town this week (French version on the reverse). The 1st summer evening market is on Thursday evening and I am not sure how many hundreds of people go but the location is virtually at my back door! Charlie and his friends are going to be busy putting them under car windscreens and the banners will be up front and back.

Hi DD - I like your signage! Take your point about the name for the B&B though...
Congrats on the progress so far. It's all sounding very positive!
Was the name Topbird's idea?
Love the sign - I'm pretty sure it was Topbird who came up with the name too
Sounds like plans are coming together ....when do you plan to open? Its all very exciting
Lots of good suggestions from Chrissie on bunting - try googling how to make bunting for other hints and tips.
Thanks for the "troc" explanation BL
