Never mind virtual menu, I want the real thing.

Sounds like you have a great kid there, a great credit to you and your parenting skills.

How can you lie there and think of England

Your sail looks good, strong, solid supports.

Do you still want my friend's Paragon cups? Don't forget my email about fetching them from my other friend as we'll be away.

Hope to come to tea next week, once the stress of my Open Garden on Sunday is over. What are your opening hours?

Best wishes for the opening, DD!

Interestingly, although "château" and "gâteaux" are both French words, the combination "château de gâteaux" sounds typically English to my ears! Which is fine if you are looking to attract mostly English customers. image

Or Anglophiles, Papi Jo.  I think it's a name to make people smile.  image

You do have to be careful what you call your establishment, of course; I have a photo of a sports shop we came across in Amiens, unwisely titled "Athlete's Foot"...  image

Looking forward to "joining" you for the tasting on Friday evening, DD.  Delighted to see, as I said on the "Forkers" thread, that your little green caterpillar avatar has metamorphosed into a butterfly.  Very appropriate!  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

There was a sports shop here too called Athletes Foot, think it closed down.
