    Great news DD image

A new beginning for you and Charlie and it will be a success with your determination.

Shame about the distance or you would be inundated with tea sets from many of us.

Have you a TROC or an EMMAUS near you DD?   Good for crockery sets and maybe even tables and chairs.

Lots of places here now selling off pelargoniums and petunias and so on at reduced prices .

This is so good to hear! So are you actually living there or is it solely a business premises?

I got a shade sail from IKEA a few years ago for a fraction of the price of other retailers - might be worth checking them out. And are you going for a retro, mismatched look for your crockery?  If so, I have a couple of sets of cup, saucer and little plate I could send you.

    Congratulations! And enjoy.

Hi, in response to questions raised, I will be living there, it's 3 floors, first floor, Tea Room, and obviously, Tea Garden, 2nd floor, B&B rooms, 3rd floor (attic) me and Charlie.

I'm not sure what the style is called but I'm aiming for typical English tea cups and table cloths, nice but not formal. I'm stealing some ideas from Betty's tea room menu, but have to make allowances for French taste too, so pastries and croissants, expressos and croque monsieur available too. Scones, with jam and cream are a must.

Garden ideas: I have room for hanging baskets, window boxes and lots of wall tops plus a terrace and a stairwell down to the park and stream. I need vibrant colour, heat tolerant and 'English' style flowers, suggestions please. I adore géraniums (should that be pelagoniums) but would like something to remind people of England. The colour theme of the Tea Room is pink and Anise green, but not sure that has to follow into planting scheme, what do you all think? ?

I'm considering an English address for delivery of English stuff with a view to driving over and stuffing car with it all rather than pay countless & costly EU delivery fees. Bedding, table cloths, napkins, cushions etc. And knick knacks I just can't seem to find here. Perhaps a few cuttings could find there way there too? ??

Well done DD. Does that mean that the house is yours now or is it still in the hands of the Notaire?

As Obelixx said, sometimes Troc places have crockery. Also Brocante sales and Vide Grenier sales. There is a place called Samie   http://porcelainesmpsamie.fr/nos-produits  They sell white Limoges porcelaine, seconds, for very reasonable prices. There is one on the way to Limoges and one at Marsac near Périgueux.

    Here are the before pics.

    I hope that works.

Garden is 3 levels, top for seated terrace area, 2nd and 3rd level for informal seating area. Steps go down to the stream and park (the tidy bit). The tatty kitchen is in the garden, hopefully will be an ice cream serving area.

Anyway, more pics to follow as and when. Please keep ideas coming.

Also, still have to find A name for the B&B part of the business, I had picked Maison de Parc but another b&b already has that name. Leave it with you.?
