Hosta, I thought you'd like to know that Hubby is having a good laugh at the toilet episode of the Pottery throw down. I warned him to keep his eye out for it to arrive.

im worn out so good night all.

    Hostafan1 says:

no idea Dove, best tariff with our supplier, but I once tried to find an alternative and decided it was a minefield, so gave up.

    See original post

But do you keep renewing that tariff ... we're locked into ours for 12 months at a time, but at the end of that 12 months it reverts to their standard tariff which is much higher, unless I phone them up or go online and re-do it.

I used this site, as I do for all insurances, I got the price down to £33.00 a month and that was with the company I was already with.

Just after I posted - I was thinking the same as Dove re the barn ,Hosta!  It does sound ridiculously high. There's three of us here using showers and hairdryers, washing machine every day, tumble drier, tv or radio on a lot, computers etc, all electric cooker, kettle on a lot (image ) and I'm nowhere near that. I'm probably a bit less than the bloke that visited you.

Hope you don't mind me suggesting something else, Hosta, but could you turn everything electrical off and ask your tenants to do the same for say half an hour and see if your meter reading goes up in the meantime.

BM - perfumed, repeat flowering rambling and shrub roses plus perfumed and clematis plus a winter honeyscukle and 2 hamamelis to extend the season.     There'll be ground cover too but probably not perfumed or it will be a battle of pongs.  It's on the east side of the house in an area 10m long on the eastern hedged side and 7.5m wide on the north and south ends.  The idea is to have a bed about 1.5 wide on 3 sides with a table and chairs for morning coffee in the sun..

Given the northerly hooly that's been blowing thru there today I shall need windbreak fabric on the northern fence for a year or two while it all gets established.
