So much spring colour to feast your eyes on Marion.  There is a very cold wind up here today. Mt azaleas, rhodos and viburnums have started to come into flower. My sunken terraced area looks its best when they are all in bloom.

Lovely, Marion. I've had internet problems, but have just found you again. I look at your thread, when Laptop lets me, but have been finding it hard to post.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

You too GWRS.  Nice to hear from you Busy Lizzie.  No rain yet in Bristol but the brilliant sunshine is lovely.  my garden is very lush despite the drought.  Tulips still wowing me.

Going out this morning to spend my stash of gardening vouchers on alpines for my Alpine tapestry garden!  Sun is out so promise of a good day and two fine days to get started planting them up.before the cold weather hits us next week.

A friend came yesterday and cleared the weeds from one o my eight raised beds so I can plant out my broad bean plants which are covered in flowers so I will soon be overwhelmed with broad beans like last year.  She was impressed with my early potatoes which look almost ready to be harvested!
