Another lovely gardening day in Bristol and forecast same for rest of the week but we need rain.As I looked out at my tulips this morning I thought I never have had such tall ones before.  They certainlt are reaching for the sun.  They also are lasting a very long time in flower which makes me think there is a dearth of pollinators about.  Perhaps I should put out some water for the bees and butterflies.

Such beautiful weather for gardening and taking pictures in the garden!  First the newly sprung clean middle terrace and then my black tulips - Queen of the Night.

All looking very spruce, Marion.  Love the depth of colour in 'Queen of the night'

Going to dentist soon but will do something in garden when I return.

Gosh Flumpy, weird isn't it?  I have just come in from the theatre - "Jane Eyre" the musical.  It was very enjoyable.  Mr. Rochester was played by a Colin Firth lookalike who had a very good singing voice.

We have a little drizzle.  a downpour is badly needed however.  Very gloomy actually but may brighten up later.  My pansy plugs are thriving. four of them have flowers on all different colours.

Good morning, Dull here but need it to stay dry as have two clematis to plant. The soil is nicely moist.  Also have lavender and v bonariensis Rigida plug plants to pot up.

I hope you get your desired downpour during the night Marion.

That would be lovely Joyce.  I wish I could just order it online.  Sunshine again today but not even April showers.  still loads of April flowers.
