You all sound very organised with  your gardening. IT makes me feel a bit lazy. I might get out there today.

Hello Pat, just about to pop off to bed and spotted you there.

Very dry in London at the moment, have had to do some watering which is just plain silly at this time of the year.

Hope you have a very Happy Easter, Pat. Best wishes from London. image

Thanks Daisy, and the same to you. I've been outside hanging washing on the line. No clouds here and of course no rain.

    sleep well.

Good morning all image There's some puddles on the roadway at the bottom of the rise. Not big ones, but puddles nevertheless. If I'd known that was coming I'd have spread some lawn stuff on the front lawn. Now I'll leave it until we get back from Lincs.

    Morning all.

Looks as though it could be a pleasant day for the garden. More planting to be done.

    Morning all.

Everyone else snoozing. Not me. image

I'm beginning to hate being in bed. It's become a battle ground between sleep, and more often the case, no sleep.

I'm sure a cup of tea will help.

Morning all/afties Pat. I'm not as organised as some of the other people here either - so don't feel outnumbered!

Been lots of rain overnight. My front 'grass' is now very black. I was hoping to get it scraped out today. The grass has grown a fair bit too of course, so I may get it cut if it dries out well enough.

I enjoyed G'sW too - I don't often watch it on Fridays. I definitely think they need to do the propagating, lawn care, pruning items, seeds sowing etc, and do them regularly.  Vital for new gardeners, and it's why Beechgrove is so popular.

I never really buy plug plants, but  soemone mentioned Cersatium a while ago, and it struck me as being an ideal candidate for my fence 'window box', so I ordered some. They arrived in great nick, and I got them into little pots yesterday. Already well settled in and looking happy.

Was that three squares BL, or three bars? image  Glad you got your 'pong' sorted  image

I think you deserved at tkeast a triple ice cream fidget. DId you have a flake in it too image

I'll have a look round now with another cuppa, and see what's what before I organise some washing. At least I should get it outside today.

Fairy, hadn't realised McLaren's did mail order. Looked for stockists of Stachys Hummelo,( as planted by C Beardshaw in the ribbon garden) and McL was one of them.  Superb plants, as expected, and large enough to split.

Did you get some delivered  from them Joyce? I don't know anyone that's used their mail order.

If you ever need anything biggish from them,  just let me know and I can get  them for you. Saves the delivery charge  image
