Aym, well hubby had the best gloves because he was doing all the cutting, i had just an ordinary pair of cotton Gardening gloves, so i was very careful.Thanks.
The first house we bought was just like yours Logan, we planted a row of conifers around the border, didn't like them but it kept dogs and children off of it. We kept them short just at about 2' but it was just enough, wonder if they are still there?Do you have any problems?
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Doesn't quite encapsulate the feeling or entire size of the two main beds but here's an image from my favourite garden at Hampton Court last July, it's for the Dogs Trust UK. They had shallow water and tunnels that ran underground for play. Also spot the Agastache there Verdun, presuming it's a well established Black Adder or Blue Boa?
And Monty for good measure after he understandably became irate on the third take of the program due to a noisy lady and her loud camera directly behind me.
B's Mum...glad you have good weather for gardening. Lots of hail showers here last night and the winds are still very strong this morning and it's bitterly cold.
I had forgotten about this. It was hidden behind overgrown lemon grass in pots. My dad actually complimented me on those "beautiful yellow blooms" and that's how I found out!!

Ah,Aym don't be sad, look on the bright side, you wanted rain.
Thanks for the reminder.

"I firmly believe Dove is an administrator on the forum despite Daniel's public denial of it."
Once again: Dove is not an administrator on this site. Never has been, never will be. We don't have any volunteer moderators on gardenersworld.com.

It's been raining a lot more now. Here's a pic from yesterday. I wanted to get all the hyhasinths in.
It wasn't very good, hubby's cut back the Pyracantha down the side, with my help.
