Aym, their in the concervatory, i don't know what the temperature is but it does get very hot so I cover them with a sheet of newspaper. The concervatory has a flat roof.Geoff Hamilton made a light box, so I opened it up and made a light wall to put all the trays by it.image

The bed at Middleton house is as colourful as high summer. I had to look close to check they were spring flowers.

I finally got round to sowing my sweet peas today. I have put potatoes in trays to chit. A bit late, but my gardening year has started.

Last week I saw a fox in the garden, around 4pm. Today at 5pm, the fox wandered across by the pond, and came face to face with a cat coming the other way. The cat sat and stared at the fox. The fox did the jumping thing as if it was pouncing on a mouse. The cat stared back. The fox turned round and went back in to the wood.  I think it must be a vixen. They were calling in November, I guess she will have cubs soon.

Aym, thanks, the toilet rolls do go mouldy but that's alright. The light box is made of kitchen foil stuck on with celotape.image

imageA self-seeded euphorbia in the gravel at the side of a path. A bit sprawly but I cut it hard back after flowering. Gloves on of course!.

Me too, Verdun.  Have another three varieties and , as long as they are kept under control, they are useful for some areas.
