Tomorrow does indeed look like wonderful gardening weather.

I'm on coal face duties but I had a call earlier to tell me about my route. Bude , Crackington Haven, Tintagel and Delabole included. At least I'll get to see the sea.

    Devon.

It's going to be wet here tomorrow Hosta. image

As you know OH and I love Devon and Cornwall, but if we never go to Delabole again it'll be too soon.  We had one of the strangest experiences and the worst meal of our lives there  .... be afraid .... be very afraid ............... image

" DON'T GO TO BODMIN"  We've heard on many occasions from folk round here.

" 10,000 people, one set of great grandparents"

I have to confess , I'm not keen on Camelford either. but I love Crackington Haven.

    Devon.

When I lived in Exeter, that's what people used to say about Tiverton!

Looking good, Wonky and Hosta image. I love shifting plants around - suddenly things that weren't really doing anything become perfect in their new spot. Video tours sound exciting!

Well the only progress here is that the raised beds are *nearly* full - another tonne should do it, and I need to get some bags of manure to add too. I did some tidying up and tying in of honeysuckles yesterday, and OH set up the permanent support for a stepover apple I planted a few weeks ago - want to finish that off today but the weather forecast is not promising.

Redruth and Camborne are the worst, you take your life into your hands when you go there, don't make eye contact!!  Trevone  and Tintagel are my favourite places.

Bodmin has had its roads up for months, you have to go right out to camelford and back in that way, so that and the roadwork stretching for 7 miles, and has been for three years, it's a nightmare to go anywhere down that way.

I need to go to Homeleigh and the glazier so let me know when you're home again on the next nice day and I'll bring the iPad.

Have many  happy memories of Bodmin, used to stay with our friend's aunty there.  Mind you is was about 45 years ago.  I remember watching the red squirrels in the park.  The other thing is that it was handy to get to anywhere in cornwall, we explored right across the county during our holidays.

It is a good central point. Bodmin.

my son  delivers in Camborne, has to lock the van and has been shouted at several times.
