That looks like fantastic blank canvas, honeyandeggs :-). And the wall looks beautiful - are they like that all the way round?
My bigger plans for this year are to fill the newly-built raised beds (this is in progress - we made them rather deeper than necessary in a fit of enthusiasm and now have had to bring in tonnes of topsoil!), grow some veg in them, plan a fruit bush and lean-to greenhouse area (a freebie from Facebook), and finally make the big hole we dug a year ago into the intended pond. Also want to redesign the front garden...

Wow LG! Loads to get on for you! Spring needs to get cracking! we want pictures along the way! Always before and after. Lean to greenhouse SIL be a fantastic addition I'd love one too...I have a plastic walking thingy but it didn't like storm Doris much! Hubby says he has plans to build me a pallet greenhouse, but he's very busy and I'm not sure when this is supposed to happen.
trachelospermum jasminoides, looks perfect! Thanks for the tip! Imagine the scent...beautiful
Yes, lots to do :-). I have a plastic Lidl one which went flying several times last year before I temporarily lashed it to a tree. It worked so well I have never un-lashed it. I'll probably keep it and put the 'new' one next to it, against the fence. It's not really new, but it's unused - the owner had had it, brand new and still in its box, in her shed for 18 years! She decided to get rid of it and posted on a local group on Facebook offering it for free.

Mine is a lidl one LG, I thought they looked sturdier than the Argos ones. I tethered mine into the wall and dug the frame in to the ground....hasn't taken off but did get a rip which I've had to duct tape with a plastic bag patch so not ideal!
What a wonderful find! So thats a branches vintage greenhouse you have LG! Very desirable! You lucky thing I keep looking on freecycle but no luck so far
It'll be a while before we put the greenhouse together, I think - it can only go in one location and that spot isn't ready for it yet. It's still in its box so I only hope it's not all broken!
The Lidl one was about 50 feet down the garden and more than once we woke up to find it upended against the patio doors, its contents scattered between the house and its original location...
Was supposed to be barrowing topsoil through to the raised beds today but have spent most of the day catching up with two women I knew as a child/teen... was lovely, but no gardening was done.

LG if its any consolation, I was barrowing topsoil half the day and Scottish pebbles the other half! Bit pooped! Sounds like you had a lovely day catching up with old friends
I'm still looking on freecycle for a greenhouse but no luck so far. Well done on yours! What a fantastic find!
I'm a bit excited today as I'm collection g my pergola posts! designing my own, I've managed to reduce the cost down to £31! admitting family discount but still blinking good! I'm hoping construction will begin next weekend at the latest
First of my plants have arrived - still a hundred and more to come! Yes, this is a drast border rethink! Won't look much this year but next year should be a lot better! And the first of the house projects is done. lots of painting to do inside as well so trying to get in front of jobs while I have the time and the inclination. Off to buy some undercoat now.

Beausmum, your right I do have a picture to update this but unfortunately the weather has been pants so terrible light...promised sun today but its overcast at the moment I have so far, uprooted 2 honeysuckle that weren't happy in their original spot and were waiting for a new home. Also a climbing rose that I got when Dove and I went to east Ruston old vicarage that needed a rescue, I'll find the name later. They have now been re-homed against the pergola and have begun to form screening! Not bad without spending a penny!
Hogweed, how exciting! The makeover can begin! We want progress pics please! Plant lists too!
