It's quite possible. They can sleep in different places, but if he's happy there and not showing any signs of distress l wouldn't be too concerned. Obviously if you see him out and about in daylight that could be a different story.
That's good news @Logan4 , I hope the first of many for you this year. We have been seeing a regular two for the past three weeks or so. Sometimes they fight and other times feed quietly together. I sometimes wonder if there are more than two - time will tell.
Just a reminder now that we have had an improvement in the weather - please take care when using strimmers, forks, mowers etc. in the garden. Check the area maybe with a soft broom or gloved hands before you start to cut or dig.
