Liri, Lidl lemonade : 17p for 2 litres. Can't be beaten, even with discount.

A bag of Acidanthera popped into my had in B&M . 99p , rude not to.

Popped into Waitrose, only 3 deliveries between 5 ish and 7 ish. Happy with that in this rain.

    Devon.

Nice fig Dove - and no, Hosta, not a euphemism....image

Greta news LP. You will all be relieved  image

LG - it's a real pain about the pots though. I had a laugh this morning as the squirrel clearly thought he'd found a nut for burying when he dug up some crocus ( image) last autumn

Thank you all so much. We are mighty relieved, your good wishes really comforted.

I am just listening to an item on the  radio about the sound quality on tv. Thank goodness it's not just us!

  • Bought two Water butts from Tesco the other week. they are 120 litres and come with the water diverter kit and also a stand to put them on. They were £4.50 each so I got two for using on my new shed I installed last summer. It turned out they were marked up wrong and should have been £20.00 each .As they were marked up wrong they said that they had to sell me them at the £4.50 price. The label was soon removed and the correct price installed. Bargain

    I am very happyimage

  • Nice to get a real bargain from Tesco Gary - not a common occurrence in my experience image

Hello , everybody , yes a great bargain from Tesco

  • We've had a few figs, but last year they dropped before they were fully ripe. Although I was watering it I think the pot didn't hold enough moisture because when I first planted it I filled the bottom half of the pot with chunks of polystyrene so it wasn't over-potted. However I realised that it now needs to use the whole pot so today we removed all the polystyrene and repotted it using JI No 3 with lots of added grit. Hopefully well get ripe figs again this year - there are some tiny ones that have over-wintered.
