After a lot of trail and error I've finally been able to plant some seedlings into my cut flower patch and have more in the seedling cloche coming along nicely. Nex year I won't be sowing any seeds before March!

I'm not sure if they're planted too close together, we shall see.

Lots of nice ones there, gorgeous little nursery bed, have you got room to plant out when they grow on, the Cerinthe will grow at least two feet wide and maybe more.

Haha, mistake no 1! The bed is 3 x 12ft roughly, might have to jiggle the plants around a bit. Not all the plants are for me Lyn, I'm growing some for a friend whose getting some bees and I've  got plenty of spaces in the rest of the garden. I won't be sowing as many next year!?

That's what we all say Bright star!

I sowed my free GW mag cornflower seeds on Saturday afternoon. On checking them this morning, I thought they were starting to grow. Have been out all day and have just checked again and, sure enough, there is about 8 of them well and truly 'up'. Is this a record? Although they don't need it, they are in a heated propagator just because that was the only place I hade space for them!

You will get hundreds of bees on the Cerinthe, also, I grow Borage , they love that, bit untidy though, spreads for about 3' long.

Fleece is on as I type this.  I'm checking night time temps everyday at the moment. I've got borage growing too, managed to find some borage seeds with white flowers, not seen that before.

I've got some Ageratum Blue Horizon on the windowsill, for filling up my beds around my perennials. They came up a few days ago, about a week after I sowed them. Still tiny. Hope they come on quickly.

Maybe not quite seeds, but these are the first dahlias i've ever grown (i think i put the tubers in pots the first couple of weeks of March). Put them outside again today to acclimatise them (they live against the french doors in the livingroom) and i noticed a flower bud on one of the 'Bishop of Canterbury' image

My 2nd year tree peonies (seed provided by a forum member) are still surviving. Not sure where I'm going to plant them all! Behind are two Cuphea cyanea cuttings, which I took from my Bristol garden. Pleased they survived the winter unprotected. I'll be offering cuttings to forum members next year.

In here are Verbena rigida and Euphorbia oblongata (Sarah Raven plugs), some Salvia 'Caradonna' basal cuttings, a pot of Ageratum 'Blue Horizon' seedlings, and a basal cutting of Geranium 'Anne Thompson'.
