My disaster zone aka patio.......generally used for sitting and enjoying the weather and garden.  Weather aside, I pulled a muscle in my back almost 2 weeks ago, so little or no gardening being done, aside from planting on, dependant on whether there is someone bringing the bag of compost to me, no more lifting full bags of compost for me!!! Feeling very frustrated today, especially now the rain has stopped. Might attempt to get at least a few into the ground today.....then get back to lying on the duvet on the floor, my temporary bed and place of rest.

Mary, everything looks lush and ready to go. I hope you find some way if getting them in. Do you know an impoverished youth who could do with a few Euro and a bit of fresh air?

Beautiful flowers Zj what are the yellow jobs in the third pic?

    In London. Keen but lazy.

Yes that's the one I mean. They're lovely. Will Google to see if they'll survive in my garden.

Looks like they need damp soil. Oh well, never mind.

This is a picture that I took of one of my poppy seed heads, with a very pretty mint moth on it. I thought that the colours matched wonderfully. I sent the picture off to the Garden News magazine, and I heard yesterday that it made it into their magazine for this week. I am only an amateur photographer but I love taking pictures of my flowers and the wildlife that I am blessed to see as well.

  • Gorgeous poppy seed head Jacqueline and a moth that I have never seen before - beautiful.

Are those Geums Mrs Bradshaw and Totally Tangerine in your second picture Chris? I am a huge fan of Geums although most of my Mrs Bradshaw's have keeled over now that they are flowering.
