Maybe it's because my Guernsey Cream is in such dense shade, but the flower seems much more creamy-greenish overall than yours. I like the fact that it hasn't got even a hint of pink about it, unlike Miss Bateman, pictured on the previous page; I love Miss B but the pink wouldn't have worked in that part of my garden.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Liri - my Miss B doesn't have any pink - white with the green bars and purple anthers
Guernsey Cream is smaller and creamier - nicer I think. I'm not actually that keen on the big flowering clems, but Miss B suits that spot. I've just bought macropetala Lemon Dream for the neighbouring raised bed. GCream would be perfect for another spot I have in the boundary bed.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hi all clematis lovers, here are some pics of my C. 'Guernsey Cream'. I find it quite decorative, even after the tepals have fallen (last pic #4).

It must have been the reflection from Hazel's wall, plus the purple anthers...
I'm with you on small-flowering clematis. The big flamboyant ones look great in the right setting, but my garden isn't suitable.
I much prefer the viticellas and alpinas Liri. I'm looking forward to seeing my new ones flower. Niobe is about to open soon.
Miss B is ok there has she has a dark background, and a fair bit of other planting to keep her looking right
