Just a few new pictures to add in now the tulips are flowering a bit, still waiting to do the gravel path though in front of the patio circle at the lower end
Thanks Victoria Sponge we changed from the usual red cedar to this saw grass colour it makes them stand out well. Just have to keep on top of it as the pace speeds up into May-June time, move onto alliums and glads and Peonies and Papavers. But I do enjoy it more now, loved it as a kid but went away from it through teen years and early 20's and have come back to it in my 30's now 33 (34 in June) would not leave this great hobby as some people call it Gardening
Looking great James - you clearly work very hard at getting it right. Agree with you about the paint colour - looks lovely. I can never understand why everyone paints their fences orange!
I'm hoping the rhodie I've planted will be quite dark like yours Joyce. I don't really like them, but I saw it by accident and it was the right colour for this back border. Your acer's well on too.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I agree Fairygirl - what a fantastic riot of colour in your garden James - those tulips are wonderful and so rewarding for you to look at and admire too.
Joyce, your plants always look so healthy and bursting with blooms - how do you do it - what type of soil do you have - gold dust?
Thanks Guernsey Donkey Yeah like a bit of colour not to fussed in Spring about colour, I went to Keukenhof couple years back fell in love with the idea of playing with colour using spring bulbs
