Wet today in Bristol but at 17 degrees feeling very warm so must don my raincoat and wellies and get out in the garden if just to stop the dahlias, pansies and stocks from shouting "plant me" from the kitchen table not to mention the late potatoes and onions sets and shallots trying to grab me as i pass my rattan easy chair where I stashed them.  Nightmare!

Sun came out so lots done and gaps on the kitchen table now.  The garden does encroach on my living accommodation somewhat in the spring when my new plants arrive!

Such a delicate pink Joyce.  My jonquils along the path are vying with the hyacinths in the warmth of today - over 18 degrees now - as to who smells the strongest.

Another fine gardening day so should get more potatoes planted and dahlias, pansies and stocks.  Gradually running out of pots for plug plants so will have to do a safari into the back of the garage where i know there are bin bags full of them, carefully checking for hedgehogs as I go.  I will leave the garage door open to let any hibernating butterflies out into the sunshine.  lots of nectar and pollen now in the borders.

Have a good gardening day Marion.  I enjoy reading your "blog".

Thank You Obelixx.  You will just have to imagine the perfume from my hyacinths and jonquils which is getting stronger by the day as the warm weather arrives.imageimageimageimage

Perfume heaven along the path, Marion. Many buds still to open on the pots of jonquils.

Grey, wet and miserable here so no gardening.  Plenty to catch up on indoors.

Awwww, hope you are recovering well GWRS.  I have done quite a lot in  the garden today but my 88 years are telling now so in for a bite to eat and a rest.  The 60 pansy plugs are nearly all potted on and a few of my dahlia corms.
